The state government has decided to bring in a unified system in the colors of all private service buses. The decision was taken at a meeting between the Transport Department and private bus owners.
Private bus owners have informed their organization about the color scheme within 15 days.
City, rural and long distance buses will have different colors. This change will be applied according to Section 264 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
Today, private buses are coming in vibrant colors on our roads, they look beautiful when looking at, sometimes it sometimes gets caught and causes some of the road accidents. It has decided to bring uniform color of all private buses.
Transport Authority has also decided to officially authorize a car / bike for rent at the meeting. Although they already had a car rental service, they were eventually denied official permission.
