Thrissur: A low-floor bus parked at the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus stand here on Sunday started on its own and hit a few autorickshaws and an electric post, injuring one person.
The bus to Ernakulam was parked near the auto rickshaw stand as it had developed some problem. The bus moved on its own as soon as the driver got out of it. It hit the autorickshaws parked at the auto stand and an electric post.
The post fell on Ramachandran of Mannuthy, who was standing near it.
His four fingers on the left palm snapped under the impact.
The preliminary inquiry suggests that the failure of the air system of the bus engine led to the accident.
