തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ബസ് ചാര്‍ജ് വര്‍ധനയ്ക്ക് മന്ത്രിസഭയുടെ അംഗീകാരം. മിനിമം ചാര്‍ജിന് മാറ്റമുണ്ടാവില്ല. ജസ്റ്റിസ് രാമചന്ദ്രന്‍ കമ്മീഷന്റെ ശുപാര്‍ശ പ്രകാരമാണ് ചാര്‍ജ് വര്‍ധന.രണ്ടര കിലോമീറ്ററിന് 8 രൂപയായി ചാര്‍ജ് വര്‍ധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നേരത്തെ 5 കിലോ മീറ്ററിനായിരുന്നു 8 രൂപ ചാര്‍ജ്.
5 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ യാത്ര ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഇനി 10 രൂപ നല്‍കേണ്ടി വരും. അതേ സമയം വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളുടെ കണ്‍സെഷന്‍ നിരക്ക് കൂട്ടണമെന്ന ആവശ്യം മന്ത്രിസഭ തള്ളി.
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday approved the recommendation put forward by Justice M Ramachadran commission to increase the bus fare in the state.
The minimum fare for 2.5 km is fixed at Rs 8. Earlier the minimum distance was 5 km for Rs 8.According to the new system, to travel 5 km distance, the fare will be Rs 10.
Meanwhile, the commission recommendation to hike the student concession fare was rejected by the Cabinet.
